 I have always been interested in art from a very young age, I started painting with oils at about the age 8 when my mother bought me my first set of Winsor and Newton paints.
I studied art throughout my school years and on leaving at 17 I attended Cordwainers college of art and design in London for 2 years. I then went on to study at Chelsea college of art for a further year, before attending The London college of fashion for 2 years. Here I trained to become a make-up artist, which is now my full time profession.
Having studied art for so long before make-up gave me somewhat of an advantage when it came to the more creative styles of editorial and body painting work. And thus this too has worked in reverse when it comes to my art, as many of my pieces are portrait or figural. I love faces and in particular the female form. I work from my London home and draw on many influences , I have a love of colour and vintage imagery. In my past I have designed / made and had clothes commissioned for well know recording artist, and for the past year or so I have been learning to tattoo which has had a great impact on my drawings.Artgallery rating
