Artist Joanna Gilbert

Ever since an early age Jo has had a natural flair for painting, art and design. Her work has been purchased for both commercial and residential properties as well as bespoke work being commissioned for private customers. By layering the canvas through the use of acrylic mediums and mixed media, Joanna is able to raise certain parts of the picture to create interesting 3dimensional effects. The use of colour and metallics enhances the overall look to create striking, yet beautiful pieces of art that shimmers and shines as the light catches it. All her works are on good quality deep stretch canvas with painted edges that do not need framing.
