Artist Joanna Golding

I am a self taught artist based in Brighton, East Sussex. I have always enjoyed Art & Design, acheiving top grading for this subject at school. I also have a passion for animals & it was because of this that I focused on a Veternary nursing career. Drawing has always been a hobby of mine, often receiving requests from friends & family to capture their favourite photo, whether it be a family pet, baby or special place. It gave me a great sense of acheivement & satisfaction when handing my work over. It is because of my love for art & the pleasure it gives me when someone is truly delighted with something which I have solely created, that I now work as a full time artist. I draw & paint a variety of subjects in pencil, oil, pastel and acrylic. Living so close to the South of England's coastline and the beautiful countryside of the Sussex Downs, it has given me the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the land and sea of this area, many of my paintings are directly inspired by these views.
