| I am mainly a self taught artist. I’m learning a skill that is mainly learnt through trial and error. I did do a two year art foundation course at Hastings Art College but after a while I realised the teachers did not teach me one thing about how to mix colours or do brush strokes, put canvases on stretchers, and priming. Artists learn through reading about other artists, having ideas, making mistakes which sometimes turn out to be strokes on genius and experiments with new media.
Trying to let other people understand what one is feeling. My art is mainly about looking at the cycles of nature and the universe. Fractals are mathematical patterns in all we see in life and beyond. I like to think about the atoms that are impossible to see but are everywhere in existence. I find that all things that exist are recurring patterns, form veins to stars systems. If one looks, all things are just repeating cycles and spheres which mean to me no beginning and no end, this equal’s chaotic perfection. |
