Artist John Hall

John's interest in art always took second place to his first choice career as a Police Officer, mainly working overseas. When he retired in 2003 he decided to make some serious steps into the art world and studied locally for three years at the Riverside College on Teesside in the UK. Water colour was followed by Acrylic and some Oil work but most of his work is in his favourite medium which is Acrylic. Having reached the required standard he joined the Ingleby Barwick Art Group in 2006 and has had the pleasure of receiving instruction from several professional artists. He has exhibited locally, jointly with other members of his Art Group for the last six years which has given him some successful sales. He enjoys painting a variety of subjects with the aim of raising funds for children's charities. So if you do decide to purchase any of his work you will be contributing to a very worthy cause.
