Artist John Pimlott

I was born and grew up in Wirral and live in Bebington. I have been painting in oils for many years now and attended 'Laird Street School of Art' in the late sixties. my main influences were the usual Constable, Turner and Stubbs but in the last few years have discovered Acrylics and Jackson Pollock after a visit to the Peggy Guggenhiem Collection in Venice. I paint to a background of contemporary music and hope that the excitement of the music comes through in the paintings I have also recently started producing 'POP ART' type pictures - Commissions taken.
