Artist Jola Kent

I started to paint in Adult Education classes in Milton Keynes over twenty years ago. Since then I've been exhibiting and selling my paintings around Herts, Bucks and Oxford shire. I am a member of the Milton Keynes Society of Art and the Dacorum and Chiltern Potters Guild. I have run art lessons in our local primary school, became a trained tutor for adults and taught Watercolour Classes for ACE. I enjoy learning, teaching children and adults, but most of all I enjoy painting. I spend much of my time exploring the local countryside and especially like to travel to the Cornish coastline for inspiration. My primary media is watercolour, but I love working with pastels and charcoal. I've also done done acrylics and oils, mostly as abstracts and still livesl. My largest work was 2m by 7m long and it had to have a wall built to display it, but I do smaller pieces as well as shown here.
