Thank you for visiting! I am a multi disciplined artist working in painting, photography and video. I tend to work quickly in order to complete any project or body of work. In painting I work either in abstract or avant garde. The majority of the paintings shown are in the form of abstract which are formed from expression. The bold colours are challenged with either well proportioned or ridged lining to form and construct the composition. Colours also clash well or are awkward or inviting. The best abstract painting is by accident and I prefer to use accident as a starting point. Having no intention but only in the movement of the paint makes it seem more interesting. The form hasn't any meaning or purpose, but exists wholly justified in its statement and the way it lands effortlessly on the canvas. Like life, textured but delicate, as fragile as an embryo. The sensation is most important. If it makes you feel good, keep it.
