My creative practice draws on my interest in anatomy and a desire to reveal the innate forms and hidden beauty of our essential structural form.
My work takes two separate approaches to anatomy. First, to explore and illustrate anatomical structure, exposing the complexity and beauty that exists in our internal architecture. Second, drawing on laws of ‘divine proportion’, to explore and expose the geometric harmony present in the structure of bones and cells.
My other area of work brings together my interest in graphic design and my experience using polished plaster and I have combined these to create a series of print style paintings which create visually striking pieces.
