I have always dabbled in a variation of media until I moved to Cornwall in 1994 and discovered driftwood, I love everything about it! The collecting in very dangerous places, up cliffs with my body weight in wood strapped to my back, it is the best job in the world and I am lucky enough to live in such a beautiful part of the world surrounded by lovely beaches.
Driftwood itself to me is like finding treasure, and every piece of wood has its own unique identity making it a pleasure to work with. I can make most things from small boxes, candle holders, mirrors, to cupboards, tables and chairs and lamp's, every bespoke commission is a challenge and a pleasure.
