“My work is based on observing the natural world, whether it be a large twisted tree stump, a dried contorted leaf, the angularity of crystalline rock, or the flowing of a shell. In my paintings I like to extract elements of nature to create a new harmonious order and create a fresh, emotionally intense view of the natural world”. |
