Artist Juliet Haigh

I began an AVCE course at my local college when my 2 children were young. Due to my divorce taking place in the same year I didn't complete the course as my children were extremely distressed and needed me to be a full time parent. I went back to college to study a foundation course part time and from this gained a place at Lincoln University to study Fine Art and Illustration. Unfortunately my children were still too unsettled for me to commit to a full time course, out of town, at that time. I went to work for the NHS for approximately 5 years and produced some pieces of work in my spare time. I am currently in the position of trying to become self employed as an artist.
