I was born in Keighley, West Yorkshire where I still live and practice. I gained a first class honours degree in fine art at Loughborough college of art (82-85) and a masters degree in fine art at Leeds polythecnic (90-91). During my college years I practised as a printmaker, over the last 6 years or so i decided to concentrate on painting. I have sold many works locally (especially prints), and exhibit within West Yorkshire on a regular basis. I am a member of the Leeds fine art group where I was selected in 2006 to exhibit aproximately two to three times a year. My subject matter varies from the moody yorkshire landscapes of Haworth, to the hussle and bussle of urban Leeds. Although I have sold all my landscape paintings at present - a new batch will be for sale later this year.
