Artist Kerri Nathwani

I am a self taught artist and have been painting since my teens. I live in Gourock on the West Coast of Scotland. I paint in water colour and acrylic and have recently started painting in oils which I am really enjoying. The effects that can be achieved with oils is second to none. My preferred subject is landscape but recently I have been experimenting with more varied subjects such as flowers and statues! My inspiration generally comes from my surroundings in the West Coast of Scotland. I am very lucky to be surrounded by such fantastic views its just a shame the weather wasn't a little bit better! I am a member of a local art club and exhibit my paintings in a variety of local exhibitions. Painting is my hobby. I love painting because I feel relaxed and time seems to disappear.
