 After graduating from Kingston University with a Graphic Design Degree I worked for several years in the media as a Stylist, Designer & Art Director.
Wanting a more spirited lifestyle, I am now immersed in the mythic coastal landscape of West Wales, a setting that has enhanced my creative work & life.
I love creating spontaneously and with rich acrylic colours & metallic inks. As I work I am guided by the alchemy of paint and my subconscious, until forms appear and the shape of the work emerges; ethereal beings, abstract worlds or animals such as deer, horses, birds & fish.
I am deeply influenced by the theme of transformation and my butterfly paintings are a contemporary exploration of this enduring, joyful symbolism.
