Kevin Willetts is a British abstract artist whose Paintings are included in private collections in the UK and America. He studied at Chelsea College of Art in London, and has previously exhibited works in London and throughout the UK.
His influences include modern psychology, especially the ideas of Stephen Kosslyn concerning mental rotation and imagery - how the mind processes visual information. This leads to an exploration of pattern recognition and the relationships between colours. Ancient symbols and belief systems are examined against modern scientific theories regarding such themes as loss of meaning and relevance and the "Disorientation effect".
He continues to Live and paint in Britain.
