 I am a young artist who has always painted; and by and large, I am self-taught. I spend many an hour translating beautiful and compelling things I see into mental paintings: a feline face, a cityscape, erotic, colourful fruit. The ones which make it onto the canvas are the ones which got the deepest beneath my skin.
I adore art and have found some of my favourite pieces outside of the mainstream, along with welcoming and unpretentious people cultivating the scene.
In terms of my history, I began producing paintings for friends and family around 5 years ago, typically as wedding presents, celebrating the birth of a child or suchlike. These were well coveted and I began to receive requests for projects outside of my social circle. While I relished the challenge of interpreting my client's great ideas, I present here some translations of my imagination. I only hope that the pure joy I experienced whilst producing these pieces is evident to the viewer.
