I am a self taught artist having always had a great interest in art and creativity. Since a young age I have expressed myself through drawing and painting, finding it a way to escape and be spontaneous! I would describe most of my work as experimental- I like to experiment with vivid colours, taking inspiration from things around me and my imagination. I tend to focus on the abstract side of art, bringing it to life with colour and fluency, applying a range of textures and media. I tend to favour the use of acrylic paints and deep edge canvases when producing my artwork. A lot of my work is based on intuition-sometimes I may start with some fixed ideas but these will only start to develop once I begin to paint, and feel the creativity flowing!
