Life has been interesting.
I left school with an A level in art and did absolutely nothing artistic for the next 28 years. The combination of divorce and and redundancy from a job in IT gave me the opportunity to start painting again. Now I am studying for a degree in Fine Art, whilst trying to make a living painting. Having only restarted painting in the last couple of years I am still searching for my style(s).
My interests are varied and all feed into my work in some way. They are: Science Fiction, The Pre Raphaelites, World War 2, Erotica, Camouflage and Stained Glass to name a few.
I am interested in the emotional affect that art can have on individuals as thats the way it works on me.
I love painting. I love the rush I get when it all works out and I sit back, look at a finished piece and say to myself "Did I do that?". I am always seeking advice and feedback and these are the main forces that have assisted me in developing over a relatively short period. I am not one to rest on my laurels - I always want to get on to the next painting and make it even more stunning and satisfying.
