 I am a deaf, self-taught artist, born in Thessaloniki, Greece in 1937. I started painting at the age of 6, experimenting with different artistic currents ranging from landscapes to abstracts. Painting helps me externalise all the thoughts and images that run through my head and which would otherwise remain locked up in the silence in which I live because of my deafness.
It is a great honour for me to know that others may take an interest in what I create. I am not interested in painting as a profession and the financial benefits it may or may not yield. I remain an amateur artist and would love to see my art publicised at a low, affordable cost.
