Artist Linda Calverley

I live and work in the North East of England and have enjoyed experimenting with different types of art and crafts since I was a child, but it wasn’t until later in life that I completed a City & Guilds qualification in Embroidery, and then a BA (Hons) in Textiles & Surface Design graduating in the summer of 2005. I work in a wide range of media and techniques and cover a variety of subjects, which results in a number of different styles. My work is exhibited in local galleries both as a solo artist and also as a member of a mixed media/textile group called Vervey. My next exhibition with Vervey is at Arc, Stockton Arts Centre, Stockton on Tees, Stockton [8th March - 17th April 2010]
