 I am an artist living and working in the Essex area of the UK. I studied Art to A level and took an interior design course which also allowed me to follow my passion of working with large paintings/murals.
I got great pleasure from painting murals for childrens bedrooms on a part time basis.
After having my second child in 2005 I was approached by a friend of a friend who asked if I could 'make some of my large paintings smaller to fit into her home and office' I agreed, and started part time painting abstract/flowers/landscapes on a smaller scale.
My inspiration comes everyday from my two wonderful young children who are also my best and worst critics! (they do love to tell me when a painting is great and also when they hate what I have done!!)
Within the past year and a half i have worked a lot more with texture and love the fact that by using different mediums so many great looks can be achieved. The majority of my paintings have light to heavy texture.
I hope I have explained roughly my passion for art, my love of life and family and hope that by purchasing a painting from me it will stay within your family or work enviroment for years to come.
