I am a freelance artist who grduated with a degree in Textiles and Surface Pattern. Following my degree I have specialised in paintings that I sold through galleries and private sales. Following on from my degree I won an award in 'design excellence' and I exhibited at New Designers in Islington. I later was able to exhibit in the Washington gallery in Penarth where I sold several art works. I was also a member of the V.O.G.A art group which helped further my art career and sell more art work. I have also sold through private sales and taken on some charity artwork.
My paintings are inspired by nature. I love the way nature influences my paintings by bringing alive different colours and shapes. I have painted numerous seascapes and landscapes inspired by the welsh and cornish coast line.
In these current paintings I have been influenced by my move to the Welsh valleys. I love painting views of small dainty houses scattered amoung the green valleys of Treharris, with the fragile shapes formed by the winter shapes of trees.
