Artist Lorna Allen

I studied art for three years, where I concentrated my studies on painting. My earlier paintings often have a figurative theme. At first they appear to be abstract but on further inspection faces emerge. My later paintings are landscapes which were influenced by my travels around the world. My main medium used is oil paints or acrylic on canvas. I sometimes like to mix sand with the paint to solidify the painting.
