My work is a combination of photographic and artistic manipulation using digital media. My inspiration comes from symetry and form - I use a photograph like a blank canvas and I let my imagination paint the picture. It is true that a picture is worth a thousand words and the idea that a single image can convey the complex feelings and emotions of the appreciation of vast landscapes, sea shores or... fields of flowers, fascinates me so I try to capture that energy in my panoramic work.
My artistry involves a total process. Starting with the camera, capturing my vision then continuing to bring out the desired colours with the final step being the presentation. I press my work between thick blocks of Acrylic to get a specific light and colour intensity. Acrylic has a higher light transmission than glass and makes colour seem more intense and further enhances the reflective qualities of my art.
