I started painting about 12 months ago; April 2009; as I have been in mental hospitals for the last 7 years, in and out, where I would sketch the inmates, my friends, and images of dreams...I never painted, because I could never quite comprehend or develop the idea of colour in a work...I now make colourful art...I like to paint portraits, I also paint myself because I'm readily available...and whatever comes to mind, automatic drawings and subconscious painting...hitting the canvas with one idea, and then developing something entirely different..
I am self-taught.
I am beginning a Higher National Diploma in Fine Art in September...hope to enter university at a later date.
