I have always loved art, its always moved me.
I have never had raw talent, however i am proof that if you take the time to teach yourself that with enough determination you can do anything. I first of all learnt to paint at a young age with my father when he painted chess pieces; then at college i did a painting and decorating course which taught me how to hold a brush, how to manipulate FOR (flow out rates) and how to get a range of desired effects. Last but the most important was when i did a tattoo apprenticeship, i had to learn to draw accurately and provide shades, depth and a sense of personality. This has all lead to my own unique style and what i feel is good art.
All of the work i create is done free hand no outlines, no shadows, no guides or pre drawings, this provides much more character, there are more than likely mistakes under the finished layer of paint where i have decided something needed to be changed i am not perfect, neither is the ceiling of the Sistine chapel however its art is perfect in its flaws. I usually create pictures that would ordinarily belong permanently etched into someones skin, however nowadays as tattoos have become mainstream people like the style but don't like idea of having them permanently on their bodies. thus i decided this would be my specialty as its what i enjoy the most. what makes it different is the depth it has, layers in front of more layers scrolls curving from the back to the front, colors blaring into vision, sharp lines subtle shades and pictures that incite feeling.
the other style i like is still landscapes with bold colors something that hits you and moves you the way art did to me when i was growing up, all my bedrooms were blue, deep strong sea blue, the front room where i have the fond memories of growing up were bright orange.
Nothing I put up here is to make a quick pound, i want people to have something of mine on the walls, i want people to spend time looking at it and think of how long i spent getting the tone right or the shape, something that makes the buyer think when he recieves the painting "wow i will base my entire room around this picture".
