Mandy Newby was born in 1983 in the South West of England. She has always enjoyed painting but in the past has found little time for it. She spent a year travelling the world and all of her favourite places have been by the water, especially the beach which inspires the majority of her work.
She has recently discovered a flair for painting animals which probably stems for a love of all things furry after growing up in the country surrounded by animals and spending time on safari.
Mandy mainly works in Acrylic but does occasionally dabble with Watercolour, Pastel, and Coloured Pencil.
