 I started painting seriously in 2006 after enrolling at college to do art and design at NQ level. I was quickly advised by my tutors to aim higher and after 4 years studying I finally achieved a BA HONS degree at Leeds Met University in july 2010.
My paintings mostly consist of large scale canvases.
My work mostly features monochromatic landscapes images of Glasgow and surrounding areas.
My subjects are well known Glasgow landmarks, I use these subjects to familiarise my viewers with the images which can be quite unrecognisable sometimes with their dark and smoggy appearance.
