I was born in the Holme Valley, West Yorkshire, UK, A wonderful place lots of inspiration for art and the countryside, big valleys and wild moorland.
I started to paint in oils when I was 12, this is still my prefered medium, but I also enjoy working with water colour and ink wash especially outdoors.
I love the outdoors, mountains, walking, hiking and mountaineering, this gives me inspiration for my paintings.
My work is traditional, realistic I enjoy painting wild life, landscapes and buildings.
I accept commissions for paintings, buildings and landscapes.
I now live and paint in London.
