 I'm a Graduate of Fashion Design and Textile Surfaces, currently working in High Fashion Design.
My paintings are completely separate to my profession. The ideas come from shapes that impress me – maps, observing irregular landscapes and forms, old writings, and ethnic music. I consider materiality one of the most important aspects in my work, and for this reason, I passionately explore different medias to create different structures. The shapes reflect reality but decorative tracery that expresses tension, eliminate the real element leaving just the two-dimensionality and very material memory of each object or feeling.
More then often I use a wax background as this allows me to mix various medias without destroying any of their features.
