Artist Mary Stubberfield

I studied foundation in art at Eastbourne College of Art before attending Bournemouth College of Art to complete a degree in Illustration. During this time I was selected for the European Illustration Awards and Images-the best of British Illustration. Exhibitions include:The Association of Illustrators London, Young Masters Atlanta, Art for Youth at the Mall Galleries annually (award winner 1994) , Vic Naylor, St John Street London, Zebra One Gallery Hampstead, the Brighton Festival, Royal College of Art, Novas Gallery Camden, The Camden Arts Centre, Skylark Gallery South bank, Art Loco, Ticehurst, The Stables Gallery, Hastings, The Yacht Bar, Eastbourne Sovereign Harbour, IO Gallery and Bellis Gallery in Brighton I have also exhibited in hotels and galleries in Spetses and Hydra in Greece and was commissioned to paint houses and murals for private clients there. Illustration commissions include Scotrail, English Tourist Board, Element Books, Cadogan Guides, Santoro Publishing, WH Smith, Watermark Publishing, Athena, Modernart Editions, BBC Magazines and BBC Educational Publishing. I have illustrated magazines, book covers, children's books, cookery books, greetings cards and billboard advertisements. I aim to continue with various projects including a book on Greece, greetings card designs, printmaking and watercolour painting. This page is regularly updated so please check back soon.
