"I am a sculptor specializing in the carving of stone"
As stone is a natural substance with its own individual characteristics, I work intuitively with it so that if the nature of the stone suggests a change of direction, I am free to respond. In preparation for commissions I make sketches. I use the sketches as a guide for my finished sculpture which is never an exact copy of the initial drawings. I take myself and my clients on a journey of discovery with the final sculpture being a true revelation. Not until the sculpture is in situ does it finally come to life!
