 From a very early age I have always enjoyed drawing and painting. I remember being given a paper and pencil, which would keep me quiet for many hours.
Although an interest in art has always been with me, my career and family life understandably came first. Therefore, it wasn't until my retirement from a career in accountancy that I decided to devote more time to my ambition of painting in watercolour.
Being self-taught I enjoy the freshness of a pure watercolour painting, which is retained even after many years of being painted.
I like to paint as much as possible out of doors 'en plein aire' in Wiltshire, Somerset, Norfolk, Dorset and The Lake District.
I exhibit locally and also give watercolour demonstrations.
