Born in Cheshire, I trained at Jacob Kramer College, Leeds and Canterbury College of Art where I was taught by Geoffrey Rigden. The late Tom Watt, Head of Painting at Canterbury, was an important influence.
I have taught at Canterbury College of Art, the National School of Art in Dublin and at the Post Graduate College of Art in Lemba, Cyprus.
