 I was born in Huyton,Liverpool, in 1963 and drawing and painting has always been a great passion that has run through my life as far back as I can remember so,when work dried up in my Painting and Decorating business, I decided to take a leap of faith and do what I've always dreamed about doing and became a full-time artist in December last year,though I have been selling since 2005.
After several commissions and my first exhibition at the MASH Gallery,St.Helens, I am currently working towards a solo show at The Godfrey Pilkington Gallery.
I am inspired by the world around me. Even in the ugliest corner of town you can find a little ray of light if you look hard enough.
The majority of my paintings are drawn from my imagination.... strands taken from many walks around local fields,farmland and industrial sites. Beauty can be gleaned from a simple shaft of light on a distant horizon or a cloud formation.
