 My love of art started very early. When I was 4 years I began to attend courses at art school in Slovakia. These are my loveliest memories of developing secret world of imagination where I could express myself as well as expand my artistic potential. However I left visual arts in order to study music and for 11 years I studied the piano. When I was 16 I took the option of a scholarship at artistic school for young people in Denmark, Ribe where I further developed my artistic skills by studying various artistic methods, from using oil colours on canvas, through working with the coal, drawing nature and figures to printing and combining various materials and media in order to get a message to the recepient.
In fact I was always attracted to drawing with pencils. This simple technic takes me back to my childhood and enables me to connect with the child within me. It's always like taking the pencils as I left them on the small table once when I was five. The clear uncomplicated vision of a child, his universe full of shapes, colours and miracles will never stop to fascinate me.
My art is about uncovering and throwing away the fixed concepts and ideas about the world and life, about letting go of stress, Do's and Dont's, prejudices and worries. Once this is done you can explore another level of your being, inner life which flows undisturbed and most of the time unobserved within everyone of us. My pictures are here to remind you of fun, simplicity and originality our lives can have when we start to reconnect with the child-like aspect of ourselves.
