Artist Mrs Amanda Cowsill

Hi. I am a self taught artist who wishes to help everybody to see the beauty of wildlife through painting. I paint primarily in acrylic and soft pastel but also love to use charcoal. I class myself as an amateur but hope to become professional some day. I exhibit twice a year at local church halls. I loan some of my pictures to the local primary school so that the children get to see real art instead of computer generated images. I also enter the local agricultural shows with my art (one if which is the oldest in England) and regularly get placed. I live high in the North Pennines on one of our smallholdings with my family, where we produce most of our food. Being an area of outstanding natural beauty I am never short of inspiration.
