I live in North Yorkshire with my family and am an architect by profession and it is this that underpins my artistic work. Prefering to use acrylic paint and charcoal my paintings strive to explore personal thoughts and feelings as well as more global issues of community, identity, isolation, accountability and freedom.
I am also interested in space, perspectives, dynamics and movement and how these can be represented through composition, form and colour.
