Totally self taught. No formal education in art at school. No qualifications in art. I have been drawing and painting since I can remember, my need to draw is as powerful as my need to breathe. Like most kids I began drawing cartoon characters gradually progressing towards portraits of friends and family.
I'm happiest working with the pencil as I find pencil shows the mood of the artist at that particular time of producing a certain work of art. Someone once said " I could better live without the sun, than live without my art". My sentiments exactly.
