Organic is perhaps how I would best describe my art practice. I find influence and inspiration can come from anything; a word, a song, a feeling, a place…but this is only ever a starting point. Each piece is an exploration of colour and movement, created using a wide range of media and manipulated using a variety of techniques. I delight in the challenge of working with and combining a multiplicity of materials and I believe that my most prominent work is often inadvertent and even accidental.
Art, for me, is ultimately about the impact it has on the observer. I would not expect each and every person who views my work to accept, appreciate, or necessarily understand it; I do however hope it at least stimulates some opinion.
