I attended West Sussex College of Art and also had lessons in watercolour at fifteen from Bob Green at Horsham. Then I moved to London and studied painting with Leslie Cole at the Central School of Art life classes and later Kingston University where I obtained a degree in Fine Art (painting). I have exhibited widely including many of The Royal Academy Summer exhibitions, The Discerning Eye national competition,The Hunting group Prize Exhibitions,The Open London Group Exhibition at Royal College of Art , Royal institute of Watercolours,The Lyn Painter Stainer Exhibition and some mixed shows at the Piccadilly gallery and the Belgrave Gallery and many others. I am a figurative and imaginative artist. I have spent some time painting in Tuscany and love Italy.After living many years in the Hampstead area and enjoying the Heath (due to my ex husband Larry Butler wanting to live there) I moved to a flat by the Thames in Twickenham and am engaged in painting the exceptionally lovely river view from my window.
