I am a self-taught artist currently based in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey. My first experience of art was through experimentation with collage. Over the years I have moved through various genres; including abstract expressionism, pop art, phootography and currently the Edward Hopper style figurative pieces you see now.
I like the space and simplicity of this style of painting. I like open landscapes, perspective and the human figure juxtaposed to the physical landscape. I like to show that our physical environment influencess both as observers as well as subjectively.
