I have always been interested in art, and painting in particular, since my teenage years. I believe there is a natural beauty that shines through great works that is truly stunning and this drew me in to the art world from that age. To try and capture this beauty in my own work was, and still is, something that drives me to paint to this day.
Due to outside interests in different aspects of the arts, mainly music, I was only a keen observer for many years and did not find the time to take up watercolour painting myself until quite recently. I am self taught and have no formal artistic education - I chose to go that route as I felt it would allow me to develop at my own pace and along whichever style or path I felt drawn to most. Having done so now, I have reached a point where I feel my work is ready for public viewing and think my paintings would offer their own charm and splendour to anyones house or home.
