I grew up in Stafford, England and my favourite subjects at school were English and Art. I completed a computer course after leaving school then finally went into Engineering surveying and then into construction after moving to London when I was 20. I lived in London for 9 years working on various projects including Canary Wharf as an 'As - Built' Surveyor and as a Site Engineer. I only started seriously with art again in 2008 whilst on a career break. Recently I have joined local art classes e.g. 'Life sessions' and 'exploring modern art'. I am currently working in multi media - acrylic, pastel, gouache and felt pen amongst other things. I still love visiting the galleries wherever I go and love starting with a blank canvas with the thought of endless possibilities.
