Artist Paul Nicholson

My home is near the market town of Beverley in the North East of England where I live with my wife and family. I became a mature student when the opportunity arose after many years as a cartographical draughtsman. I graduated from Bishop Burton college in Yorkshire in 2007 with a degree in garden design, but found that the content of the course which appealed most was environmental art. As a garden designer I also struggled to find affordable sculpture, and this led me on yet another path in trying to create my own, starting with the smaller pieces shown.
