| My artistic education began back in 1983 when I embarked on a BA Hons degree in architecture. Throughout the course I felt myself becoming more and more artistically inclined , rather than following the previously science based nature of my former education during 'O' and 'A' levels in Liverpool. Having gained my degree I thus decided that I didn't want to become a fully qualified architect but would follow an artistic career instead. I studied privately for 5 years and have had work in several exhibitions in Liverpool since then. I tend to draw and paint realistically from the world around me and so far have used oil paints, watercolours, gouache and graphite as my most common media. |
