 Hello there, thank you for taking the time to read my profile and browse my artwork. I have obtained degrees in both Animation and Illustration, and currently work as a freelance Illustrator in central Birmingham.
My artistic approach applies traditional methods; with emphasis on loose, figurative line work and detailed drawing combined with a painterly style. My favoured medium is oil, although I sometimes render my paintings using a combination of oil and acrylic.
I particularly enjoy creating illustrations that explore the human form, and where possible, I like to create paintings with a definite sense of narrative; characters that speak directly to the viewer, often dark and theatrical. I have had four exhibitions this year, the most recent a solo show in central Birmingham, U.K.
