Artist Rachael Hogg

Upon receiving a BA(hons) in Textile Design from the Glasgow School of Art in 2004, I travelled to a small village in Cyprus where I spent a wonderful year immersed in a unique artist community. This was where I truly fell in love with painting and illustration. Whilst there I also obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Fine Art from The Cyprus College of Art. In 2007 I was the Artist in Residence at The Booth in The Shetland Islands, Scotland. The beautifully 'bleak' landscape of the Islands greatly inspired my work, as did the feeling of isolation. I currently reside in London where I am working on a series of landscape paintings.
