Artist Raymond Clay

I went to Parmiters Grammer School in the east end of London,I studied art under Guy Williams the art teacher at the school. I was very good at the subject but unfortunately, as there was considered to be no future in art in those days,, when I left school I went to work in the city. When I retired three years ago I took up art as a hobby and it quickly took over my life. My dad was a good artist so it must be in my blood. I've currently got three paintings in a local exhibition at Sidcup. My favourite medium is acrylics and I suppose I enjoy landscape painting the most. However I also paint modern paintings and figures.
